  • Sooo good! Really enjoyed it!

Best show I've watched in a long time. The writing is so funny and gritty and smart. It's a generation X show, with gen X people and gen X humour ... fantastic!

Characters are funny and very real. They could be us, they're the same age as my friends and I, and though they live a comfortable lifestyle, they are not the super rich of the White Lotus and company.

The show looks at marriage from every angle. The ups, the downs and the unremarkable details that make people connect and stay together.

Steve Carell is magnificent. Tina Fey is so perfectly anal and awful to everybody she is hilarious.

And the italian husband who looks like an Italian fashion magazine ad and always has classical music playing in the background ... you really grow to love him in all his cappucino delight.

Huge congrats to Tina Fey on this great show. It's full of surprising everyday-like situations and I laughed my head off in every episode, but especially in the last one.

Wish more shows contained so much good writing, good acting and authentic depictions of the ups and dows in life.

  • Too complex for teenagers, too dumb for us

This series lands like another rich people problems lookalike. You even wonder if you've seen that house in the Nichole Kidman rich people problems series.

But you keep watching because all the moms are great actrices. You expect that they are going to do something interesting.

You don't actually understand until the last episode what makes this series a little interesting. That plot twist changes the way you pulled yourself through the whole thing while doing something else and forgetting who did what in each episode.

It is that final plot twist that explains why teenagers found the book so fascinating. But until then it is just flat, boring, full of filler content with ridiculous rich people traditions nobody real could ever take seriously.

I mean, it can talk in the background while you are ironing, or running, or doing something intereting. It's al very pastel, and the moms' quibbles seem to be imagined by a drama queen teenager.

The grandfather is quasi silent the whole time and then says really teenager drama queen tech mogul stuff ...

  • Soooo baaaad!!!!

What a bore. Incredible how anybody can make such a flat, boring, pointless movie with so many great elements.

The main problem here is her. She is so beautiful but so inexpressive. Her voice carries over the entire movie in this completely forgettable rant that could not interest anybody no matter how bored they were to begin with.

She should get into modelling and forget acting.

Visuals are beautiful but ... how to describe them ... so fantastic and aspirational they could never be real.

Pascal is looking old here. He brings nothing to the role beyond good 50+ looks.

The other boyfriend is so cliché, working as a waiter at the wedding she put together.

And again, the whole centuries old debate of love versus money falls flat and pointless on the back of this beautiful but really bad actrice.

I had to play puzzles on my phone just to get throught the thing. Honestly, it is shamefully materialistic in its conception: put two attractive and highly sought after actors in a lovely setting and waste no energy on adding any other value.

This is what you get. A disgrace. (another one. Don't get me started on the we were liars fiasco on amazon)
