  • A loving storytelling

I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews about the storyline. Personally, I didn't think it was bad at all, and there were even a few touching moments that resonated with me. Although this series had less humor and fewer comedic scenes compared to others, it did a good job of portraying behaviors that many parents would want to see in their children, along with the complexities and outcomes of those behaviors.

I agree that the part of the story involving AI could have been explored more, especially since it's such a relevant topic in our world today. However, I thought the coverage it received was still pretty decent.

Overall, I enjoyed this movie more than the *Ah Boys to Men* series. It also carried some meaningful messages, like not judging people based on appearances, not stressing too much over exams, and recognizing that exams aren't the only way to measure a person's worth.

  • AI is not a replacement for Love

I was drawn to this movie after the demo of GPT-4o Voice, with claims that it bore a striking resemblance to the film 'Her.' Upon watching it, I found those claims to be astonishingly accurate. The movie beautifully captures the complex and poignant reality of a human falling in love with an AI. It delves into the inherent limitations of AI and the contrasting mission or vision that the companies developing these technologies pursue-primarily driven by business models.

The narrative poignantly highlights that, regardless of how advanced AI becomes in simulating emotions, it can never truly replace the genuine, nuanced emotions of a real human being. The portrayal of love with an AI is both enchanting and deeply moving, creating memories that feel profoundly real. Yet, there's an underlying sense of something missing, an irreplaceable void that no artificial intelligence, no matter how sophisticated, can ever fill.

This film masterfully explores the bittersweet nature of such a relationship, reminding us of the irreplaceable depth and authenticity of human connection.

  • CGI for Hong Kong comes a long way.

The storyline is simple, nothing confusing and out of the box. Just chill and enjoy the movies without thinking too much on the storyline. The CGI in the movies has already reach a standard comparable with US movie, consider that it is a Kong Kong company that makes the CGI. The acting is average for some actor. (e.g when you are in war, why the actor faces are still clean and shinny). It is not a perfect storyline, with loophole and some does not make any sense, but good effort put into this movie hearing that it took years to make. Nevertheless, I did enjoyed the movie for their action & CGI, the explosion and the fights.
