Dasara is a high adrenaline action, revenge drama that is set in the backdrop of singareni coal mines. The movie, the characters and dialogues are all out and out Telangana.

The story is simple and as you have seen in many commercial movies, but screenplay and mass elements never let the pace of the movie down. But there is a unexpecting twist which changes the entire course of events and sets up tone for the latter part of the movie.

The way the director deals with the story and characters is fresh. Even though the movie has good entertainment, there are certain parts which are lagging and slow.

The village sets and props are amazing and well made. The songs are great. The action part is the king of this story, combined with high emotions.

This is Nani's one of the best performance in his career. Watch it for Nani.

The story is inspired from true incidents as stated. Coming to the stoty of the movie there is nothing special that stands out or great. Everything falls flat, except for few action sequences. Also it doesn't help that the story is very predictable and you can see it coming from a mile.

The screenplay also doen't elevate the proceedings and is average at best. The music of the movie is not bad. The background score is also not that great.

The performances of actors involved is not that great. And don't expect Shershah performance from Siddharth Malhotra. Rashmika is ok, but fails with her limited acting skills.

If you have lot of time to kill, then watch it. Otherwise its a waste of time. Makers of this movie have made a right move by releasing the movie on ott.

The story starts on the right note with the back story and about it in the beginning which is interesting. Then as the movie progresses you feel a lot of things missing or slowly paced story.

The basic plot of the movie is the main lead coming to realize his potential powers. It is as simple as that and nothing more. Movies with simple story lines can be made gripping with engaging screenplay, great dilouges and excellent performances. The lead seems to be in some sort of confusion and his character feels out of place in few scenes. Especially after intermission. Where the the story could have gone on a serious tone, ends up making a mess.

Talking about performances of actors: Ranbir is fine in his role but fails to create a larger than life character as the story line is lacking. Alia is ok. Amitabh Bachchan is good in his role. Character of Nagarjuna is great, even if his part is small he makes an impact.

The story takes too much time to proceed as it gathers steam, but fails to impress. This movie relies to much on the next upcoming part. So much, that it doesn't excite enough and doesn't have great moments of its own.

Music department is not that great, except for kesariya all other songs are not that great. Background score is fine.

This movie works only in parts and shines here and there. But impresses to fail as a whole.

The most hyped about aspect of this movie CGI is good but falls flat in few places. Which is noticeable especially in movie final sequence. The work feels very bright and vivid.

For the worth this movie made, the makers could have focused on story and screenplay.

This movie is a one time watch.
