A fantastic film, starring an exceptional Vanessa Kirby. The actress is the film's beating heart, a courageous, stubborn woman and mother who fights for her family and her son. The best Fantastic Four film, an adaptation faithful to the comics, respectful in tone, with a stunning, lovingly crafted retro '60s set design.

Former General Ross (Harrison Ford in place of the late William Hurt), is elected President of the United States, and to carry out his agenda he asks for the collaboration of the new Captain America, Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie), supported by the new Falcon Joaquin Torres (Danny Ramirez). But an attack, right in the middle of a revolutionary political-economic issue for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, complicates things. Someone is acting in the shadows, but who?
The first chapter of the series without Chris Evans, with Mackie who also inherits Steve Rogers' shield on the big screen after the events of the miniseries "The Falcon and The Winter Soldier", this relaunch of the franchise is essentially a sequel to "The Incredible Hulk", from which it takes some characters, explains some events that happened after the fight between Hulk and Abomination, and officially introduces the historical nemesis of the Green Goliath in the comics, namely the Leader (Tim Blake Nelson, also from the Leterrier film).
But is it a perfect film? No. Is it a good film? Yes. Captain America: Brave New World is not at the level of Winter Soldier, but it has a similar structure, a political thriller mixed with the superhero genre, and it succeeds in its intent even if, I repeat, not on the same level to which we were accustomed by the Russo brothers' film.
Some things could have been smoothed out and others improved (the hand-to-hand fight scenes have a choreography with some obvious flaws), but in any case everything is compensated by a good cast, among which a good Mackie stands out (great dynamic with Ramirez) and an always excellent Harrison Ford, definitely at ease in a genre unusual for him and capable of impersonating a Ross torn apart by the past and by the conflictual relationship with his daughter Betty (Liv Tyler), who blames him for having persecuted Bruce Banner.
The clash between Red Hulk and Cap is however one of the best things in the film, and not as short as one might have thought.
