I watched this movie because I was searching for a horror movie to watch. When it was over, I realized that i'd just watched an entire movie that was clearly a comedy but isn't listed anywhere as a comedy. And it was surprisingly good AND funny. The karaoke scene at the end had me rolling. No spoilers but come on, that was funny. I'm so glad it was on HULU because I never would have rented this movie and I would have never known what I was missing out on. It's clearly a low budget movie with actors that I've neither seen nor heard of, but what a great job they did putting this together. It comes highly recommended.

Ok. I find it virtually impossible to rate a horror film 10 of of 10. They just aren't good enough. Incident In Ghostland is an incredibly rare exception. It is a truly classic horror film in every way. The direction is top notch. The casting could not have been better. The script is superb. The musical score fits in every scene. There are very few horror films that are actually scary anymore. Incident In Ghostland is scary... very scary. Don't miss the opportunity to see a classic horror film that isn't 30 years old. I watched this when it came out and just watched it again and I feel exactly the same as I did the first time.

With the garbage that's been put out in the last 4 or 5 years, it's good to know that they are still making good movies with a good script, a good soundtrack, good acting, and good direction. Those things are difficult to find in the same movie recently. They all exist in this movie. I have seen Samara Weaving in a few movies over the past 4 or 5 years and she is way underrated. Honestly, she gives some of the best comedic performances by a woman or a man. Do yourself a favor and watch this movie. You will be glad that you did. Not one actor in this movie was a disappointment. They all played their parts perfectly. The only reason it didn't get a 9 was that a comedy has to be perfect to get a 9 or 10 in my opinion. This was really close.
