It's gonna be hard to compete with the 2008 The Strangers ,, this new remake could of been better,, not terrible but not rewatchable,, the main problems are the character decisions.. the acting doesnt feel genuine, from the main and side characters.. it definitely has potential it being a true realistic premise,, but they put it together very sloppy,, i let alot of things slide within the first half but there came a point where i felt i dont know what the hell they're doing,, it wasnt feeling scary,serious, or even real anymore.. Just stick with the original Strangers, a genuinely scary horror movie,, simple concept but True and Realistic,, it can happen to anyone/anytime/anywhere.
