Vedaa is an age old depiction of a war between white and black, which we have been witnessing from last 3 decades to say the least. The characters are either completely white or completely black. Nikhil Adwani is still getting to direct movies is a big shock to me as I don't remember what significant work has he done after kal ho na ho, which has completed its 20 years recently. The director chose a good subject to make a movie but the approach is so unrealistic that it leaves you frustrated at various parts. When it comes to the cast John Abrahim is the biggest disappointment, Shravari did a good job but Abhishek Banerjee steals the show, Tamanna has literally nothing to do in the movie.

Afwaah, starts with a bang and initial 10 minutes of the movie were good and built the excitement, though as soon as the main plot unveiled you get to know what's gonna ahead.

In current times in our country a number of people are trying to portray love jihad as the most threatening problem for the country on the other hand some people want to portray it as if it doesn't even exist, afwaah belongs to the second category that try desperately to propagate that there is nothing like love jihad in India. In the main starcast only Nawazuddin sidiqui was able to impress at least it was good to see him in an urban celebrity, we have seen Sharib Hashmi in a role which is quite similar to the one he played in this movie. Bhumi is doing all the role in similar manner she needs to work hard and try to improvise.

Ram Gopal verma recreated his own movie Rakta Charitra in the form of web series. The series was good in parts. Screenplay is good however the main cast disappoints. Obul reddy character doesn't stand against the one portrayed by Abhimanyu Singh in Rakta Charitra. Overall, if you are okay with violence and haven't watched Rakta Charitra you can certainly watch it.
