First of all, i know that im some ways commenting on other peoples comments isnt really allowed.. but i cannot simply go over it, as well some comments i saw on youtube trailers and such.

Im kinda shocked that people dont know or realise that this movie is based on the life (part of it of course), of the guy that made the movie ! In the role of Elias.

Im saying this cause ive even seen comments that this movie is "inauthentic" and dejavu.. well , life isnt too complicated nor its Hollywood ,im not sure what people expect?

Others at same time are "shocked" that this kinda movie is made, as its "sexulaizing" ,and or the other way around saying that this movie couldnt be made 10 years ago,.. its obvious not many people are familiar with european cinema , specfically in the older days of 70s and 80s ..as of the content and also of the fact that in european movies unlike in Hollywood, if a role is of a 14,10 year old, its really played by an actor of tha age, regardless of the role or the scenes he or she might be in.

So ok enough of that, as for the movie it self, not gonna lie of course i liked it, but at same time i cannot not be honest that there are things i didnt like... For one i didnt like the filmography , it has a very strange tint to it.. and in some scenes ,the boys lips looked literally blue (for no reason). Also there were few scenes or actings that were overdone.

But definitely liked the scenery , so european you can tell right away ,very similar to my neck of the woods.

The acting was kinda so so,i didnt like how the "dad" acted tbh, and Alex in some parts could have done a better job, i think Elias was way way better ..that scene when hes coming out to his mother in the car is just something else.. i dont even know how can something like that be an act honestly wihtout brining in like 90% of your own reality in it.

My favorite scene was tho actually when Elias was chatting with gramps on that bench ..it was like life in front of you, the beauty of youth and ..you know.. i really loved gramps role , to me he comes right after Elias.

Also perhaps its just that i was long ago for me but those girls, kinda looked way older then the boys, kinda strange a bit to see not to say that its not like that in reality.

As for the main boys , you can clearly notice who the passive role and whos not, and know the backstory to that makes perfect sence of course.

I must really wonder tho, if this movie was so much loved if the main boys didnt have the looks they have.

All in all a lovely movie ,tear jerker as they call it.

I seen some previews of this show ,ads, and right then i knew it should be good , i mean.. its retro 90s.. its teens aka so called coming of age ,tho i never understood why its called that way.. like they dont have age before that or what?.. Anyway , im shocked that this show didnt have season two, it was very different, very very fast pased, too fast for my taste but i guess it was done on purpuse cause its almost like a comedy show rather then classing high/school drama things, so its not a dull moment in this one for sure, good acting, some things i wouldnt expect from an American show in this day and age (very xxx rated language by the teens ect) some hm.. not really realistic things aka the ill take the school bus and drive you somewhere to show you something.. but ya..they show has everything you liked in Stranger Things eccept the theme is different ,the ending was/is dying for season two .. it has nice videography scenes..and as the show goes on it gets more and more interesting ,so sad it didnt get a praise it deserved.
