.. and by "GEM", I mean "Garbage Edition Movie". Brought to you by the same people who gave us "Grown Ups 2", "Zookeeper", and "Pixels"! Add another edition to the garbage set. Adam Sandler and friends try to take their dog and pony show out west to shovel us some more rubbish. What a horrible piece of trash this movie is. I couldn't even watch until the end. It includes annoying/unoriginal jokes, the plot is utterly predictable, and the performances of all its stars is *BELOW* subpar.
I LOVED "Punch Drunk Love". So I know Adam Sandler has some creativity (that I liked) inside of him. I keep waiting for a day he decides to cut the crap and show some professionalism. Exactly everything that he's worked on since then has turned into GARBAGE. And people keep watching these "GEMs", while Adam keeps cashing his checks. Despicable!

I just thought it was funny, when fives and AZ escape from the Genetic Records Hall through the hatch and AZ seals it "from the inside" with his laser, Shaak Ti could've easily used her lightsaber to open the hatch like jedis ALWAYS DO on the show. Instead they use all their resources to go look for them. :)
But this episode was an interesting look into the details of "order 66". It really shows how the clones are not the bad guys. It was the Emperor's doing from the beginning. All part of his evil and convoluted master plan. This was never explained in the feature movies, which was very confusing because the clones were all so loyal to the jedis. Then like a switch, they mass murder all of them.

Just because this movie is a little different and doesn't pander to contemporary American sensibilities, doesn't mean it's horrible or has a bad script.
Like I said it is a little different and vulgar at times. But it is entertaining and Patton Oswalt holds it together very nicely.
Johnny Knocksville & Ron Riggle are at first hard to handle but I thought they were funny and a good addition to the story.
It actually has a some very good messages about respecting nature and remembering to sometimes forget about modern technologies and to go have fun outside.
Stop hating on this movie!!
