The last great musical ever made. This movie is beautifully done. The songs are great, the dance scenes are very well done. The acting is excellent right down the line. Ron Moody (Fagin),Oliver Reed (Bill Sykes),and Mark Lester (Oliver), were sensational. The most memorable thing about this film,in my opinion,is that it leaves you feeling good. A very uplifting movie!
A brilliant film. It still scares people today. This movie has Hitchcock's signature all over it. No one else could have done it. Suspense from start to finish. One of the finest,if not the finest, horror movie ever made.
I thought the film was very well done. Mark Lester turned in another sensational performance. His portrayal of the disturbed child,Philip, was very believable. The other cast members did fine jobs, too. The ending was solid. Nice family-type movie.
