Pegasus-10

Rewatching these shows in order (Summer 2025) since it's too depressing to watch the news. Finding the six main characters act rather immature-ish, even for 20-somethings. In this episode I though Rachel was especially annoying screaming her lines to Ross (and they are both getting tiresome.) Also, no interest in the baby.

An undemanding view, but so many things in the two part plotting of the second season's opening show are silly, and make no sense. Also, it's a mystery, and too much time is spent on the angst about the daughter going off to Uni and the vicar's wife's personal life. Judith was getting a bit tiresome and the whole locked room explanation was too preposterous to take even with the bucketful of salt viewers were expected to have. (But it was nice to see Rita Tushingham again, albeit very briefly.)

Usually don't notice when that's the case, but why all those really close closeups of people's faces (driving, talking to each other, etc)?

And I know this is superficially judgemental, but why didn't Vivienne comb that hair out? It was so distracting. Liked the two younger police officers, but the other two were less likeable and their back history was hinted at but still never that clear.

Might get some insight to what had happened before, but I give up after just this first episode.
