Jenz at Bullets n Babes DVDs's rating
It was clear from the theatrical trailer that Wild Wild West was going to be a Will Smith vehicle, we had the music video, lots of wise cracks and some excellent olde-worlde special effects to go on. I decided based on the trailer to skip the film at the cinema and pick it up on DVD. I'm glad I did.
Wild Wild West is a bloated film, over the top in a somewhat agonising kind of way. It relies on Smith's happy go-lucky charm, some good effects and Salma Hayek's impressive cleavage to get through its 105 minutes running time.

Well acted by Pullman, Danes and Beckinsale the movie really really doesn't have a great deal of dramatic content.
Very nice to look at and good locations help round out an average film.

Jet Li portrays Chen Zen in a remake of Bruce Lee's Fists of Fury.
Excellent combat, good characterisation and some humour make this one of the best films going.
