Like most people who rent this movie, I got sucked in because the box proclaimed that there would be several women stuck on a space ship. So... images of Erin Gray from the second season of Buck Rodgers flashed through my mind. Boy was I disappointed. Not only was there no plot, but there wasn't even an alluring outfit! I thought these movies REQUIRED spandex.

Note to the direct-to-video companies - ONLY men rent these movies, and they ONLY do so in order to see women who are more attractive than the ones in their social circles.

Welcome to "The Road Warrior" meets "Rambo." I have seen this movie so many times in the past, it just bores me to tears when a "new" version of the same movie comes out. Don't get me wrong, I like Kurt Russell, but this movie really sucked.

What they should have done is strung together more clips of the spaceships coming and going. Those scenes were clearly the best. But in any event, answer me this: If you could go to any planet in the galaxy, why dump your trash on a planet that can support life (quite comfortably I might add)?

About three minutes into this thing I started fast-forwarding, pausing only during the nudity (why is it that bad movies always include such good looking women?). In ten minutes I was done, and wishing I could get my money back from the rental store. The people who write these movies should be sanctioned by the MPAA. Come on writers - the bad guys ALWAYS get into the car with the bomb activated by the good guy's remote control! That's the way its been done since the days of the Ottoman Empire! Also, to add insult to injury, the "twist" at the end was so formulaic, that it could have come from any action movie written in the past 25 years. Burt Reynolds was fine, but he should concentrate on real movies.

This movie is just a waste of time - Run away! Run away!
