Donnie Brasco

Donnie Brasco

  • Johnny Depp, Al Pacino and Michael Madsen, all doing their performances in years.

A fantastic (and I mean FANTASTIC) mob film. It deals with the relationship between the old guy (Benny "Lefty" Ruggiero, played by Al Pacino) and the new-comer (Donnie Brasco a.k.a. Joseph Pistone, played by Johnny Depp). And Michael Madsen (a couple of pounds heavier than we're used to) does his best performance since "Reservoir Dogs", as Sonny Black. Great movie, don't miss it for the world. It's pathetic that "Donnie Brasco" didn't get any Academy Awards.

  • Not very good....

Not very good at all. Pretty crap if you ask me. Poor acting, lousy script, unconvincing from beginning to end. First of all, it was shot in Varberg, Sweden. Which would explain why it doesn't look at all like America, where the film takes place. Second, half of the casted actors are Swedish. There's nothing wrong with, they're good actors, but some smart b*****d decided to use the wonderful invention that is voice-over, which makes it ridiculous to watch. Third, the story is a little TOO simple. A guy, finds out his brother didn't die in Vietnam as he thought, he was captured and trained to be a "War Dog". Ooooh! Creepy! Or at least it could have been. If it wasn't for the non-American scenery, the voice-overs, the story, and the fact that the budget on this film must have been... just about nonexistent.

  • FANTASTIC!!!

This is simply the BEST BEST BEST soap I have ever seen! And I'm not exaggerating! It's amazing! You got great actors like Susan Ward! Oh my god! She is just sooooo HOT! Man, I wish she was my wife... Not to mention all the other hot babes in Sunset Beach! And the scenery! Excellent! And the plot lines! Unbelievable! I've never seen anything like it! I love this show! I love Sunset Beach! I adore it! I praise it! Aaron Spelling is god!

I'm just kidding. This is the most pathetic crap I have ever seen. And Susan Ward makes me cry (and after watching her weeping like a little baby episode after episode, I know exactly how it's done). Get it off the air. Now dammit!
