This is one of the best musicals of all time, and I am surprised that so many people said bad things about it, especially the stuff about Keel and Grayson being better stars. I found the movie perfect magic the way it was. Grayson would have ruined the "Waiting for M'dearie" song with her too high operetic voice. The dancing was magnificent, so I say, don't change this masterpiece.

The movie itself was ok, good scenery and all, but the acting wasn't exactly the best. Cindy Carol wasa terrible choice for gidget because of a lack of acting skills. If you look past the fact that her acting was lousy the movie is pretty good, the plot is slighlty more mature than the other gidget's. The scenery was great and so was the fashion show sequence. All in all, it wasn't that bad...

Gidget Goes Hawaiian is a good movie despite what other people say. O.k., so its another of "beach" movie made in the '60's But this one, to me, stands out. It doesn't focus all on the beach, but partly on the "games" people play. This is, in my opinion, the best of the Gidget movies, TV movies, and TV shows.
