6th Season has been relatively week thus far; just hints that it will be one jumped-the-shark season too many.
The show has always been a cartoon with relatively numerous, shallow characters, but the long list of forgettables were added to in the episode, however for the staple cast to have to endure the dumbest lines, such as the final scene is beyond unforgivable.
So much wrong with the writing on this one that I can see by the writers' names, they are just staff writers told to pad out the final season for Netflix.
A shame too, as Ralph Macchio was directing.
But the forgettable writing is unforgivable. It's more Power Rangers than classic Cobra Kai. God I hope it doesn't turn into a disappointment like final season Game of Thrones, all bluff and bluster and no pay-off.
At the moment, that's where I fear it's going if this is the standard and where we're at. I'll give it another episode or two and it better pick up.

Great cast, with a funny, knowing script that takes the gentle mickey out of every bodice ripper you've ever seen.
Jane Seymour is the host and writer of the fantasy land, and employer of the actors who play the parts.
Jennifer "Stifler's Mom" Coolidge and James Callis are over-the-top hilarious, and Keri Russell nails it in the main lead as the Jane Austen, American fan nerd, as sort of Good Twin version of her better known roles in The Americans and The Diplomat.
Stay for the closing titles too as they added some extra little nuggets with the cast of characters too.
It really is the 'Galaxy Quest' of costume drama bodice-rippers and worth watching for the cast performances and great lines.
