This might be biased since I'm an undeniable fan of Steve Martin, but this isn't just a movie for his fans. All in all, it's a film for people who like to watch good movies. Everyone turns in a great performance and David Atkins does a wonderful job directing his great screenplay. Looking forward to seeing this again when it's released in November.
Before Bryan Cranston was the lovable Hal on "Malcolm In The Middle," he paid his dues making movies like this. I haven't even seen the whole movie yet, only BC's part. But that segment ("Let's Talk About Love") alone has already made this movie worth the six bucks I paid for it. This may not be BC's masterpiece, but it's worth watching to see what kind of roles he played before "MITM." Check it out, just make sure the kids aren't around...
I just saw the film the other night while watching a mini-marathon of other early 60's comedies. This film is the one that stuck out in my mind as being great. This movie serves the purpose that any good movie should serve, that being it is entertaining.
