All that I can really say is, after watching this movie and its 2 prequels, I can not wait for another episode. Anyone who is a fan of anime should own the entire series for this movie in their collection. This movie remains as my favorite Anime movie, and as one of my favorite movies overall.

This incarnation of the tale, of Merlin, King Aurthur, Nimue, and the many others that make up this wonderful story, is by far the best that I have had the pleasure of enjoying. I had not the expectations of this masterpiece, as it truly deserved, prior to my viewing of this ingeniously assembled production. Merlin takes on an incredible cast of talent and charm, as all of the actors bring to the screen absolutely remarkable interpretations of the characters that they portray. Their spellbinding performances are perfectly blended in with the most appropriate of portions of special effects. The cinematography is of a higher, than what would be assumed, class of scale. My only, negligible, criticism of this movie, is that it was not played on the "big screen" as it truly deserved. This treasure is worthy of the viewing of all groups, young and old, carefree or conservative, easily intrigued or reserved. This movie could most likely not be rated into any range. I strongly believe that most everyone should experience this exhibition of magic and wonderment at least once. Merlin is already an enchanted classic in my book.
