Fascinating film about chasing our tails hoping to make sense of racism and our attempts to meliorate and navigate the world of DEI.
This film should probably be shown in classrooms in Canada and the USA for entertainment, enlightenment, discovery, and discussion.
Matt Walsh navigates a touchy topic with the same kind of alacrity displayed by Michael Moore. At times, he is a bit like Sasha Baron Cohen.
Walsh wears his conservative base and values with a deadpan that is noteworthy. He also appears to have spent some money on securing the cooperation and participation of those he is investigating.
Well worth 100 minutes of your time and some space in your brain.

Reading some of the reviews here, I kind of expected a dud of a performance. Instead, Ellen gives us herself without pretense or hypocrisy. She is genuine, and she is relatable.
This show is kind of Ellen's exclamation point without any pretense. She is real and she is genuine and she is honest. This is not a laugh-it-up. This is a statement of how Ellen has evolved. It demands context and some patience and it works in making her case for telling her story. For being relatable.
