Of all the countless Vietnam war movies made by cult director Cirio Santiago this is by far the best and most intelligent.
It's basically "The Cube" in the jungle:
Five very different people are put in an unexpected life threatening situation they need to master together without any help from outside. The similarities to the characters in "The Cube" are stunning: The authority figure who takes responsibility and suddenly turns bad, the medic and "peace protester", the outsider,... and as a replacement for the maze of cubes there's a dense jungle filled with booby traps and deadly enemies.
If you liked "The Cube" you'll love this extremely well though out and executed low budget movie.

This blaxploitation classic about a kung fu mama who travels to Hong Kong to avenge her brother's death offers everything you learned to expect from the genre. Playmate Jeannie Bell (with a giant afro) really kicks ass and usually loses her clothes very quickly. If you don't take it all too seriously, the movie is great fun to watch. Stan Shaw gives a solid performance, Jeannie Bell is a little less convincing. Pam Grier she ain't.
This is where Quentin Tarantino got his idea for the light switch scene in "Jackie Brown" from.
The soundtrack by Don Julian is a gem and is frequently used in rap songs.
