I have been contributing to the IMDb since 1994 or so when I found it at Cardiff University. I liked the cross referencing & searching available in the database and I also liked the general ethos of allowing everyone to contribute what they know.

My main area of interest is the work of Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger (The Archers). This then spreads out to other work done by people who regularly worked with them (cast & crew) and other (mainly British) films from the 1940s & 50s.

Of course I'm quite willing to stray outside this area if the material is good enough - but it rarely is :)

Our updates are still in development.
