  • Sweet and Simple

Watching the movie I realized it was just another modern day Cinderella with most of the cliches that go with it.But putting that aside it does have its merits. It a light and warm movie that yet again proves that all people are equal underneath, that you must get past your inhibitions about others and past your own inhibitions too. In this movie cinderella is both male and female. One changing mostly outward and one mostly inward, mostly being the key word since changing in one aspect ultimately changes the other aspect too. While it isn't Oscar material, its nice for a quiet Friday night or the case of a no-date Saturday. Enjoy

  • No spoilers

This comment contains nothing that may spoil any point of the movie for it is really a movie that should not be spoiled for anyone.I'm glad it wasn't spoiled for me. For even though it is not a fancy movie and may not be put on a list of the 100 best movies of all time ( even though it'll go on mine)It is a heartfelt and a heart warming movie till the end. But i will say this. It WILL make you laugh and it WILL make you cry, As any good movie should have the power to do. But.... It will also make you do 2 more very important things.

For it will make you wonder, not quite knowing is this man or machine and which should i feel for, and should i feel anything. Most importantly it will make you thank GOD for the gift of life and humanity that he has bestowed on us all, for forever nothing can be compared to human life. Enjoy :o)

  • I'm still touched

I don't know about others that saw this movie, but i saw it 3 days ago and I'm still touched with the events, both fictional and non. There are so many events intertwined in this movie, You can relate to it in so many ways. The older will relate to the war scenes, the younger will understand some of what those in world war 2 went through, but will probably be more impressed with the fictional aspect. I went with a friend that knew nothing about the bombing of pearl harbor. I'm happy to say that when she came out she knew something and hungered to know more. I don't care what her incentive was, whether be it the lives lost or how cute Josh is :o) The important thing is that the film interested her.The scenes were impressive and so real, the acting was excellent, the first half of the movie moved slowly, but after that soared. In my book this is a movie not just to see but to own I don't know about anyone else who saw the movie, but i personally want to go again& again & again.
