Yes, the film is a bit older, but compared to many current films, it has a real story. Plus the "handmade" action feels just as real as in the Terminator films 1 and 2, so if you like this kind of film, this is the one for you. The "fictional" plot or message is, as in the Terminator 2 film, always topical and will remain so. There is a common thread in the plot and this is carried through to the end. You also find something like this less and less in current productions. The actors, whether they are the good guys or the bad guys, are all very believable. The fact that the stunt scene where Kate drives the car on two wheels only is now missing makes the film better and more serious. I like the film better without this scene and I absolutely understand why it is no longer in the film. So if you've seen all the modern action films, you should give this one a try. I can only recommend it. I had previously only rated the film 7/10 on imdb and I don't really give it anything like a 10/10. In the meantime and many action films later, I have revised my opinion and it gets a 10/10 together with Terminator.2. Groundbreaking and timelessly good. Hopefully there will be another film like this one day.
Here's a Christmas film that actually only consists of CGI sequences. The script was thrown down the chimney, as befits a modern Christmas film. Actually, everyone who took part in this film should be on the list. Which list are you asking? Yes, the list from the film, where everyone who makes bad films to waste other people's time gets on it. The film is not really funny, not entertaining, not exciting, in short it's not worth your time. Too bad it could have been something if they hadn't always relied on a gimmick and some CGI. The film does try to evoke some real emotion, but because everything seems so artificial ... it just doesn't seem real. The problem is new and it will continue to be with us because that's how modern films are made.
Thanks to everyone who warned about the last part of season 3. Even without spoilers, you can guess what's going to happen at the end of what is actually a strong story.
Anyway, I've seen the first season and it's great. Then the second season fell off, but it's still bearable, but a lot of things are stretched out and you just want to fast-forward. But the third season especially with the ending that makes no sense at all. It makes you wonder who comes up with such a crazy idea and ruins the whole series in the process.
Since I don't really expect quality endings or series from Netflix and the like, I approached it with humour. That's why it was easy for me to watch the last part. I just perceive it as an unnecessary extra and ignore the content. I feel sorry for everyone who put so much energy into season 1 in particular.
