Hollywood has gone too far. It took a perfectly good children's book and turned it into a nightmare of not so funny adult humor. Meyers should be ashamed to have ever considered doing this film.

We watched about a third of the movie walked out - got our money back and went to another movie.

For those who did not like this film because it lacked "fire and fury" - read the book. These men really existed and this is their story. Concentration camps are dull - their mission was a secret underground plot - thus a film of intrigue - not blood and guts. This film is a fantastic tribute to the men who drove the Germans crazy with their many tunnels and escapes.

This was a warm movie about real life. Cagney, Carney and Barkin did an outstanding job of portraying the great generation gap and how it CAN come together. Those who did not like this movie probably like a lot of violence and sex in movies.Those people are typical of this day and age...what a shame.

How do we buy a copy of this movie ? We have looked everywhere and it is not available - WHY ?????????
