That's what I said! Bond shuts the door after exclaiming, "shocking," and the band starts up with the glorious theme, so sassy and brassy, sung by a woman who's last name is Bassey! While that aural stimulation is going on, the spectacular visual of scenes from the movie are reflected upon the gold chassis of the titular character's victim. Golden!
Seems like all people want to do is complain about something not being as good as the original. Well, they're just feeling old! I'm old too, old enough to have seen Twister at a drive in, in fact. And that movie was great, and so is Twisters.
Twisters does base itself on the Twister formula, with a variety of storm and science geeks, corporate types, insane storm chaser types. And it literally and physically quotes the original...right down to the movie screen getting destroyed, only this time it's Frankenstein, " IT'S ALIVE!!!!!".
Twisters has a lot of original fun on its own, and is well worth seeing if you're a fan of the original or not.

Watching this will make you think of the days of Covid 19 and how it wrapped the world up in the requirements to take vaccines that didn't necessarily apply to the entire population. It's amazing to think back to those times one that was going on.
The episode also is interesting in that it has people making decisions to become "lab rats" Unintentionally for the better of a mankind.
I also liked how the scientist tour was involved in coming up with the cure quit corporation so he didn't make money unnecessarily. That was pretty interesting. Who wouldn't try for that these days? Quincy M. D. ...
