I'm a little old codger in my mid-seventies, and climbing every minute. I've been long retired as an elementary teacher and principal. I have a tendency to appreciate good kid movies. However, having grown up in the thirties, I well remember when Tarzan, Frankenstein, and Errol Flynn were real, even if the backdrops weren't - and when of an evening we arrived at the theater at 7:00 regardless of when the feature began ("Let's go. This is where we came in" - unless we liked it well enough to stay through a second time). In those days we religiously went to the movies twice weekly - which meant four films (double features, always). So I love to talk movies - kid or adult. I have a vanity website where I can write rambling essays to my heart's desire. A list and links to my movie reviews there can be found at http://www.dorothyann.net/myreviews.htm . Critical critics might find my reviews bland, but I hardly ever bother to review a movie I didn't especially like at least one feature of, and I almost never bother to watch any movie unless I'm pretty sure I'll enjoy it.
