This has got to be one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. Having said this however, I can see how many people from other countries don't like this movie, it relies heavily on the laconic australian humour that most other countries seem to lack, it doesn't revolve around slapstick or simply trying to 'gross out' its audience (any Faralley brothers movie, and many recent comedies). If you're an aussie there's a fair chance you'll love this film, if not, well watch it anyway, but don't say I didn't warn you.
Although the movie was without a huge budget, star actors or even a fascinating plot, the presentation alone is enough to intrigue even the most skeptical of people. The cinematography, scenery and dialogue are in a league of their own. It is, without doubt, the best movie since "Plan Nine from Outer Space".
So much for scary, this movie made me sea-sick, I've seen kid's movies more scary than this. After the extensive hype I was expecting to be at least mildly frightened, Blair Witch did not deliver as it should have after being so over-promoted.
