Wish I had seen before visiting Rome a few years back. Would have added many of these sites to my tour. Will do so if I go again. I did see the bakers tomb so there is that-had a great guidebook on food of Rome. Found this documentary interesting and engaging and educational. Did not notice any speech issues or girl powerism. Was surprised to learn this was from 2012 and looking forward to the follow on BBC documentary.

This is a close to home for me as I live one county away from Douglas County which along with Jefferson County has been the target of educational "reformers." I see the same phenomenon in my own school district and am disheartened and angry. See this movie to understand what is going on. Get involved. Don't let these people ruin good school districts in the name of reform in order to get their hands on public education money.

I felt this movie was so important I bought a DVD and hosted a showing in my neighborhood. This movie does a good job in painting the specifics as well as drawing in the big picture. While I don't agree with everything in this movie I think it is important and eye opening--whether you have kids in school or not. Make sure to google and find out what happened in the latest election--some positive news but the fight continues.
