This film purports to discuss quantum physics seriously, but in a philosophical vein. In reality, it's a two-hour, thinly disguised commercial for the pseudoscientific ravings of J.Z. Knight (better known as the "channeler" of a Cro-Magnon man, "Ramtha") and her so-called "School of Enlightenment".
See the Skeptic's Dictionary (http://skepdic.com/channel.html) for more information about J.Z. Knight and Ramtha.
Do yourself a favor and skip this pathetic mis-infomercial. For a really entertaining and informative exploration of pseudoscience, with the added bonus of punctuation in the title, try Penn & Teller's - Bullsh*t! - The First Season on DVD.

This film evoked in me the awe and wonder I had as a child for Disney Studios animation art, story telling, and fabulous characterizations! Whomever made the decision to tell this story without resort to songs and inane dialog did EXACTLY the right thing! Hopefully this marks the beginning of more wonders from the master studios!
A complex and beautifully filmed work. The tale is full of pathos, but the experience is completely enriching! Though it's described in some movie guides as a "feminist" film, do not let that categorization deter you from seeing it.
