I did not really know what to expect when I tuned into Netfix to watch this. Had me crying, laughing, and wanting to give him my best. A true story with laughter, crying, and silence and silliness. I started with no expectations and was not disappointed. Had no idea he had spent time back in Atlanta to film this. I live in Atlanta and would like to have had been in audience to see this very emotional and special and silly at times very well done Netflex show. I laughed, almost cried, and surprised throughout the slightly over an hour program. I will be watching this amazingly done show again. Thank you Netflix.
Nothing good comes out of this movie. The acting is completely subpar, very dry acting. No exciting scenes to really speak of. It is only about getting something to eat which usually is way too old dated food. And getting sex. I guess if you put enough cussing and sex related stuff in any bad movie, someone will stay in front of the television long enough to try and enjoy it. I had no idea Don Johnson was the kid in this movie. I have to say anyone seeing this movie has to thank god that we have not blown our selves up to the extent of this story line. I will say the colorization of the film does suit the story and gives it the right look.
A lot of what is being presented in this series I had no idea was going on. I was in junior high in the 60's. A lot of information that was new to me right up to the end. I watched at least two if not three parts at a time. Giving me time to think about what I had heard and processing the information. It has a lot of older interviews which I actually enjoyed. It has me thinking about other things in our world and in our lives that can't be explained. I am so glad I watched this because, even being older film viewed in it, it still had a lot to tell that does not change over time. Give it a try and see if it is worth the time for you to view. So glad I did!
