  • Funniest Thing on TV

I agree, Kid Notorious is so good I wonder if it will catch on. I'm recording as much as I can before they yank it like they did Dr. Katz. The first one I saw was with Jacques Chirac and it just railed on the French, talk about timely! I laughed so hard and was hooked. Only the coolest show would have Chirac, Rumsfeld, Kim Jung Il and Slash in it. As for the racial stereotype, lighten up, Tully Mae is one of the best characters. Besides, everyone is stereotyped just as they are on the Simpsons and South Park. "Ain't it Great! You bet your ass it is!"

  • Typical Stone Paranoia

It's a marginal movie. Hopkins and Woods are good, but it suffers from being too long, too negative, and too Stone-ish. What I want to know is, where are the Oliver Stones of other countries exposing their leaders?

France needs a good Oliver Stone exposing their centuries of corruption, death, and perfidy. Are we the only country with FREE SPEECH?

  • Pretty Decent for TV

This was as good as some of the more minor Cuban movies that are based in historical fact. However, the best movie is 'Before Night Falls' which is more professionally done, very compelling, and completely unvarnished on how brutal the dictatorship is. 'Fidel' did show the emptiness and lies of communism/socialism or as they call it, 'the revolution'. Soon there were shortages, rationing, a deteriorating standard of living, and of course, no freedom or rights for anyone except the ruling class; Fidel and his henchmen. Oh, it also demonstrates how utterly ignorant of basic economics Fidel is and how irrational and erratic he is.
