At last a movie that shakes the basic American moral around!
Everybody knows that under that Holier Than Thou-facade, American teenage kids have the same needs and urges as the rest of us.
Not only is "American Pie" funny and clever, it is also breaking taboos and boundaries that was unheard of in Hollywood just a few years ago. It is also refreshing with a line of fresh faces both behind and in front of the camera. I recommend this movie to all mature audiences.

Without a doubt, this is not a movie for anyone. It´s clearly not suitable for young children and for prudes. There IS a lot of sexual innuendos, toilet humor and crude jokes about obese people. This I agree on with the movie´s critics.
But it is these things that makes it the perfect satire of the James Bond-genre, that I´m personally not very fond of. "Austin Powers" is a liberating mile away from everything cute and arranged to fit the taste of the conservative America. It is these kinds of movies that teach us to laugh, and laugh also at the things considered taboo.
It is the middle-aged man´s adolescent daydream, a shaggalicious little movie in its own genre: fast cars, evil doctors and boombastic blondes running after the ugly hero. Pure genius by Mr. Mike Myers. Yeah, Baby, yeah, gimme more of the good stuff!

Surprisingly funny movie with the dynamic duo Martin/Hawn.
The movie brings to life the differences between the American cities and the countryside. Even if these exist, they are seldom brought up in the rest of the world.
This plot gives a warm feeling inside and brings up real problems and thoughts with comic twist.
