What can I say, I love this show... enjoyed Edie Falco's performance as well as the entire cast (still trying to remember all their names) But it's obviously filmed in NY featuring NY actors....
This movie is feelgood movie about life in a smalltown where some characters happens to be gay. Arye Gross, the ex-roomate of Ellen in the sitcom, has established himself in New York and had to go back to BIG EDEN, Montana when his grandfather fell off a roof and hurt himself. The subsequent story that evolved is done very very sweetly.... This movie got at least a 10 minutes standign ovation from the sold out Castro Theatre Crowd when it was screened at the San Francisco Gay and Lesbian Film Festival.
It has also outstandind performance all around, including Ms Louise Fletcher. The director said that the movie has not been picked up for distribution yet but the film will travel to Outfest in LA next... watch out for it, and go catch it.

this movie is a throw back to the 60's genre where everything is very high camp, includes a murder investigations, teenagers trying to fit in... etc etc etc...
It was a play by Charles Busch who also played a part in the movie, including writing the screenplay to the movie.
Very Very Very fun movie.
