It should have won the Oscar for Best Picture the year it was nominated. A completely enthralling film full of outstanding plot, writing, acting and directing. Definitely one the best movies I have ever seen. I sat on the edge of my seat the entire time not knowing exactly where it was going. It is such an intense, powerful and memorable film.

I loved the Benny/Lombard version but Brookes and Bancroft are so personable you cannot help but love this. Durning was so funny and Christopher Lloyd was great....

I'm dooooooooooooooooomed to keep looking for this movie. It is a movie that gets funnier every time I see it. The best part is knowing all the lines as a previous poster mentioned. I used to rent it from my local video store and then some other renter never returned it....and I am dooooooooooooomed to keep looking for it. It should be run at midnight in movie theaters......it's, well, HYSTERICAL!!!
