i just say this film this morning as an advanced preview, and couldnt wait to get home and mention how good it was... overall the cinematography was outstanding... and what a great performance by eric bana...well done!
I believe 'Interiors' is Woody Allens finest hour: it is his masterpiece. The best film of 1978 and one of the finest American films ever.
The acting by the entire cast is superb. If any one film derserved an academy award for ensemble acting, it's this one. Geraldine Page is chilling in her cool intensity; Mary Beth Hurt is astounding and Maureen Stapleton is a revelation. Diane Keaton; E.G. Marshall; Sam Waterston; Richard Jordan and Kristin Griffith are equally great.
When I get down on myself and question my intellect, thinking of my appreciation of 'Interiors', reminds me of my own potential and love of the cinema. 11 out of 10.

This film just blew me away. The tale of two teenage girls who are devoted to each other and conspire to murder an elderly woman was chilling.
The presentation of the film was realistic and honest. It's use of flashbacks and black and white photography, gave the film a stark and detached feel, yet enabled us to emphasise with the main protaganists, authority figures and victims.
The acting by the two leads; Alicia Witt and Renee Humpherey was superb, thoroughly deserving of the joint best actress award they won at the 1994 Sundance Film Festival. An extrordinary representation of todays lost and misguided youth, in a society that is floundering in it's own judgements; beliefs and failure to acknowledge the truth. 9/10.
