Knight Of The Cross's rating
Raymond Martino is one of my favourite film directors. His movies like "Detour", "To the limit" and "Skyscraper" I watched with interest. And I think that "Da Vince's War" is one of the best his movies (after "To the limit"). Here's a good plot. Actors played very well, especially Michael Nouri, Joey Travolta and James Russo. And Raymond's work was very well too. So, I think that this movie is GREAT!
I watched "Strange days" about eleven times. As usual I watch movies once, if I didn't understand it I watch it twice, but if I liked some I can watch it many times. "Strange days" is one of these movies. Before that I didn't pay attention to Katherine Bigelow's films. I just knew that she's got passion to violence in her movies. You can notice it if you watched "Blue Steel" or "Point Break". In "Strange Days" much more violence than in another her films. And this one also much better. The plot is little trite, but in other respects everything was good in this movie. Very well acted there Ralph Fiennes, Tom Sizemore, Michael Wincott and Vincent D'Onofrio. And director's work was also good, so indoubtedly the movie turned out well.
I love this one for the good plot, good actors' play, especially were good Nicolas Cage, Peter Stomare, James Gandolfini and finally director's work. I think Joel Schumacher made the best movie in his career. I watched it with big pleasure and "8mm" made an impression on me. Some moments was difficult to watch for strong violence. But it didn't spoil the movie.
