That guy on the right? He's a puppet. Really. If you check the picture closely, you can see the hand that moves his arm. Director Kevin McTurk has won many awards already with his amazing work in the past, most notably his short The Mill at Calder's End. His fans include people like Guillermo Del Toro, Mike Mignola and Rick Baker. Kevin is now preparing a series of short films starring The Haunted Swordsman, about (quoting his webpage) "...a lone samurai and his odd guide, the cursed severed head of another samurai, as they traverse a world of mythical creatures and nightmares of folklore..." Round-Up: Ghostbusters Reboot Figures, Philip K. Dick Science Fiction Film Festival Director Q&A, Robert Englund at Silver Scream Festival
Paul Feig tweeted a photo of four Ghostbusters reboot figures on Friday that look pretty rad. We have details, as well as a look at the figures, below. A Q&A with Daniel Abella, the director of the Philip K. Dick Film Festival, and info on Robert Englund's upcoming appearance at Silver Scream Festival, are also in this round-up.

Mattel's Ghostbusters Figures: The photo below features the prototypes of all four of the figures which stand at six inches tall. The official release date for these items is not available at this time.

Starring Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, Kristen Wiig, and Leslie Jones, Paul Feig's Ghostbusters reboot is slated to hit theaters on July 15th, 2016. Chris Hemsworth will play Kevin the receptionist, with Andy Garcia, Matt Walsh, Michael Kenneth Williams, and Cecily Strong also along for the ride.

First wave of horror films announced for Telluride Horror Show

The first round of horror films have been announced for the Colorado based horror festival Telluride Horror Show. This years lineup looks sweet and includes premieres and a special screening of Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas with director Q&A! Check the list of films below.

The first wave of films is now live for the 2015 Telluride Horror Show, October 16-18 in picturesque Telluride, Colorado (elevation 8,750 ft.).

Most of the films will make their Colorado premieres at this year's festival or will screen fresh off their Fantastic Fest debuts. The festival will also feature a special screening of Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas followed by a director Q&A.
