The first annual Galactic Film Festival was held at the Frida Theatre in Santa Ana, CA on August 9-10, 2014. The executive director of the festival is L.J. Rivera. Dawna Lee Heising was crowned Miss Galactic Film Festival at the Awards Ceremony. "Punkettes" from Frolic Pictures had it's World Premiere at the festival and won "Festival Favorite".—Eye on Excellence PR
