The Gospels read word for word

These "The Gospel of..." movies are a blessing straight from the Lord himself.

The movies read the Gospels word for word; nothing added, nothing ommitted. The actors portray what is being presented in a faithful and engaging way.

If you've ever tried to read the Bible, but found it difficult, or you were easily distracted...or found difficulty in understanding scripture then these movies are for you.

The birth of our Savior, gathering of his apostles and performing miracles are portrayed faithfully. We get to put faces and personalities to those we've read about in a way that enhances what we're hearing.

Each Gospel, as we know, tells a different viewpoint of all of those things including Jesus's suffering, crucifixion and rising from the dead three days later.

The extras in this movie are locals to the area and represent exactly what life must have been like.

    I highly recommend these movies.

    Just read the bible

This movie is very faithful to the Bible, which sadly is where it starts to bomb, turns out there is someway to make something to faithful, it isn't a movie, it's an audiobook, an audiobook with stock footage throughout so that they can call it a movie, it may be just that they chose not to speaking within the characters, and only narration, but that's the problem, if you didn't know anything about the Bible, you don't know the characters, how they act, their mannerisms, which is why some creative direction is badly needed. Like I said, it's basically an audiobook, no things that really make it a movie, and they go over every single part, I can see why this movie would be 3 hours when it went over the GENEALOGY. Don't waste your time with this movie (if you can even call it that) and just watch the chosen, it gives you a better sense with the characters and wont make you start snoring 30 minutes in.

    From un-Believers - For Believers?

What can we say about a movie such as this? Its text is the Bible Itself, the narration is impeccable, the images are very great, the angelic depictions are subtle and very tactful, but where is the fear of THEOS?

Many of the actors look and act as if they would have burst into laughter seconds after the camera turned off. There is no spiritual connection, nor holy fear visible in their faces. It looks as if they were acting just another piece for some more bread on their table, without caring too much if that bread comes now from IESOUS or from another 'g-d'. The fact that the producers organized a casting for the role of IESOUS, speaks volumes. How can such a role be cast amongst a random pool of mostly unbelievers? Is there even one Christian involved in this production? I checked some of the names listed, but apart from models and singers I could not find one proclaiming to be a Christian, not one leading or partaking in a ministry, not one being an elder, nothing, nada.

Can one fake it so as to make it? Not with the Good Message of CHRISTOS. It is not a message money is to be made with. It is a message to be feared, in both holy joy and admiration. But this ululated joy is not of Him.

1Cor 13:1 "If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal."

So Real, Felt I could've been Mary or Joanna

Makes me feel like I'm living back with Jesus. The lines are straight from the Bible, spoken in Arabic but translated in English (or whatever language the viewer needs), so far all of the first four gospels are done well like this one.

I watch these daily as I would the Bible because my eye problem makes it hard for me to read extended times. I can follow my Lord easily through your portrayals and have learned so much more of Him since I have been able to follow these. God bless your production teams for putting the time and efforts into these! I wish I knew of a way to invest in your making more of the books you haven't done.

Your actors are very good, Jesus looks like the image in the shroud of Turin. But not just him, all the actors are well chosen & seem just as one would expect to find in Israel at this time after living under such conditions at the time. The direction, costuming, location, extras, & voiceovers are all perfectly done for the purpose!

Verse By Verse According to the Book of Luke!!!

This documentary is fabulously done by well seasoned actors. Very high quality and true to Scripture, very accurate. You can actually follow along with your Bible open and read the text while watching this movie. It is amazing and highly recommend seeing it more than once and share with others as we all need Jesus!!!
