Like with many of the Adult Swim-destined programs, Decker has a very unique style of humor that is simply lost on many. However, for those interested in this genre of comedy, Decker can be an excellent (and brief) flash of comedy. The episodes average 10 minute run-time allows for fast-developing plots. The signature low-budget look complete with intentionally bad acting and low production values is artfully executed and entertaining, though viewers should still keep their eyes open for surprisingly insightful moments. Like other reviewers suggest, you'll either love it or hate it. I personally hope this show is here to stay.

Down in Louisiana working on a chain gang, Decker has obscured his native accent and mastered the voices of all nations depending on the the need at hand. This skill is useful when going deep under cover amongst the very real terrorist threat that threatens our freedom. When I say Decker is our modern day Jimi Hendrix it's because of this. He doesn't rely on gimmicks. Simply put, he gives a damn and I realize speaking my mind with or without spoilers IMDb will most likely add my name to their blacklist. I know Decker is destined for heaven because he has already been to hell, Oklahoma and Spain baby. "It's tremendously exciting.... This series knows how to generate tension and throw you off your usual TV-watching balance better than any other..." Entertainment Weekly.

Decker is a spin-off of the web-series "On Cinema at the Cinema" in which Tim Heidecker and Gregg Turkington review movies. Decker is a project their characters undertake on "On Cinema." If you're not familiar with the characters on that show you won't fully appreciate their characters on Decker. On Cinema has been around for years and can be watched on YouTube--I'd HIGHLY recommend watching those "seasons" prior to watching Decker because the evolution of Tim & Gregg on that show lays the foundation for much of the humor of Decker. Each year they also do an "Oscar Special" that runs over 3 hours--those are WELL worth watching as they contain much of the Dekkar stuff and the sustained absurdity is mind-blowing. Plus "On Cinema" is funny as hell.
Like "On Cinema," Decker is absurdist anti-humor. It is ridiculously bad in every way possible. Generally speaking, if you like Tim & Eric, Eric Andre, or other Adult Swim type programs you'll most likely love this.
Seasons 1 & 2 are favorites. Season 3 (Decker vs Dracula) is decent but relies on FX too much. Adult Swim took over the production of Season 4 (Decker Unclassified) and it's a little too slick for my taste; Decker is best when produced with almost no budget.

Hilarious show with purposely amateurish writing, special effects and acting. Hilarious riff on ultra right wing sensibility and playful jabs at earnest D.I.Y. content creators. Made laugh and then want to start wring gags, grabbing some friends, a video camera, and Adobe Primer and After Effects and have some fun. Despite it's utter nonsensical nature and cheap looking production values, it's obvious a lot of passion and effort went into creating this series. If you enjoy this then I highly recommend it's parent show, on cinema at the cinema. Tim and Greg play film reviewers who often bicker over petty issues. It's a film review show that not only lampoons film review shows but also has actual story lines that segue into the Deckerverse.

Decker is an absolute work of art involving an undercover CIA agent named Jack Decker. A true patriot who has to save American from terrorism, with the help of his sidekick Special Agent Code Breaker Jonathon Kington, the master of codes himself, who also plays a major role in the show.
Absolute brilliant storytelling with an intense story line and brilliant acting portraying convincing and genuine characters that defiantly deserves a few Emmy nominations. Phenomenal cinematography and cutting edge special effects (especially for its low budget) that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Decker is defiantly up there with the top TV shows of all time and will make you a proud American after you've seen it.

Best show ever: Time Heidecker is brilliant. His character is so over the top, but that's the point. Hope this show will win some awards, and every year it just gets better and better. Even with a higher budget, this season is still so terrible, which is what makes it hilarious. I hope they make many more seasons of Decker.

There are tw kinds of people in the world, people that think the Three Stooges are funny, and those that think there are just stupid. People that are criticizing this show seem to think the special effects are intended to be real, but the show doesn't have the budget. Nope! That's not it, they purposefully make the effects, the acting, the writing and even the concepts as bad as possible. That's what's funny and even genius about it. I don't think it could be any better

This has to be one of the worst shows in history!!! How this show made it to 5 seasons is beyond me. He's supposed to be a CIA agent, well, the real CIA could use these as torture video to make criminals confess.
When someone is shot, the blood splatter coming from their wounds looks like it was stolen from the 90's version of Mortal Kombat's "Finish Him" screen. Yes, it's that bad. Digital smoke coming from a fired weapon looks like it was cut out of a video where someone was smoking a cigarette.
I've seen better acting from Nerf war videos that my 12 year old watches on YouTube. Those kids look like professional actors compared to the actors in this show. Don't watch this show you'll lose to many brain cells. This show wouldn't even be good even if you were severely intoxicated!

I WILL vote for Decker as president in 2024. He is the only one who can save us from terrorists and the incompetent President. We will also need Agent Klington as Viss President .

When this came out it was totally original and now alot of the themes and tropes that were used in this show are used by Hollywood Elites the likes of Tom Cruise, and James Bond and Zero Dark Thirty to try to be as good as Decker but there will never match the attitude of the original CIA agent known as John Decker. Just remember if you are watching it now that it was the orignal and alot of the characters like the president Davidson and agent Klington were groundbreaking at the time.
This is comic genius. Other reviews seem to imply that this was intended to be a quality series. It is so bad it is good, and one of my all time favorites. A lot of effort is required to create a show like this. There is a lot of thought and a high level of detail to pull this off.

I love the Decker series. Its filled with action and adventure. If Magnum Pie and 24 Legacy had a baby and that baby was fed a heavy dose of spy thrillers and hard hitting suspense shows it still wouldnt grow up to be nearly as tough and good thinking as this series. From D. C. to Hawaii from Afghanistan all the way to Transalvania, wherever bad guys go Decker is on the case. Every episode I am constantly on the edge of my seat I had to keep telling myself "its only a web series, its only a web series."
Lots of great memorable characters that will stick in your memory. Great lines that will be repeated forever with other great lines like "Ill be back" and "You had me". To be concluded if you like fun youll love Decker!

Season 1 of Decker is without doubt the most amazing thing I have ever seen on television. It's honestly not even close. I've shown it to countless people and they all laugh. Maybe they are just laughing at me laughing hysterically but who cares. Every episode is outstanding. Literal tears coming down my face while watching episode 3. Longest 5 minutes of my life but in the best way. Anytime he rides his motorcycle I am dying; it's so good. From the president to code breaker special agent Klinkton to Abdul, every character is great. I feel bad for anyone that isn't entertained by this.
And if you don't think he stupid mouth agape sun glass wearing head swivel isn't funny then go watch Elf.

In the Cartoon Network's continuing search for the cheapest possible ways to fill 11 minutes, we unfortunately find "Decker Unclassified". Tim and Eric are unfunny, so it stands to reason that only one of them would be even more so. Unfunny, droning dialogue, cheesy special effects, I cannot begin to describe the monotony of this. All of this stuff was sort of funny when it was first done in the '70s, but it's long since become stale and boring. In fact, as it develops, it appears to be a commercial for Heidecker's new album, but all it does is effectively demonstrate that his musical talent is as non-existent as his comedic talent. I keep hoping that if we stop watching, they'll go away, but the Cartoon Network seems wholly committed to pushing this garbage down our throats, possibly in the belief that they'll eventually do something funny, but more likely, because these guys will keep producing cheap fodder until some forcibly ejects them from the building. Don't bother watching it, but don't expect it to go away anytime soon. The Cartoon Network appears to be dedicated to life on the cheap. And "Decker Unclassified" fits that bill in every possibly conceivable way.

Never understood the attraction to Tim and Eric. Hit or miss on the jokes? Mostly miss.
This show is a new low, as Tim was the least funny of the duo. Tim cannot carry an 11 minute show on his own.
The show has two basic jokes....one involves what appears to be the trademark bad editing of the "ab-so-lute-ly" shows. The other is the stupid open mouth gape of the main character. Give it up Adult Swim. It's no good. Cancel. Next!

Man was this a chore to get through even tried more than one episode. Not funny, lame and worn out. Tim Heidecker is dishing out more of the same only without Eric it's a lot less funny or even entertaining

Waste of air time I really hope hes not trying to be funny because its not working!
Tim and Eric was so much better but alone hes a total fail. And whats with that open mouth thing? does he think its funny? its not Tim try something other than Decker because its not at all funny and don't really know why AS would air it.

This show is the dumbest show on TV. honestly its a waste of 15 on adult swim that could be used for better shows.I honestly can't understand how anybody would ever allow this show to air.I hope the people at adult swim realize how idiotic and stupid this show is and take it of the air soon.

Well seeing as this is a comedy, it is astonishing that every single joke didn't land. I am no stranger to absurdist comedy, nor Tim's former work, however, this has got to be one of my least favorite things he has ever created. His humor has not evolved since the airing of the Tim and Eric show, and has somehow declined. I understand the attempts at humor, especially with the "poor production quality", but it comes off as trying too hard. You cannot recreate true bad media by half-hearted attempts. This came off as lazy, uninspired, and worst of all, boring. It is an absolute waste of time, I regret even wasting 11 minutes on one episode. The jokes are the exact same as the Tim and Eric show: hire old, awkward actors, and have them do semi-ridiculous things. It's extremely tiring as this describes the entirety of the show. If I had to pick one word to describe this: mediocre.
