Brutal. And true.

The sad and scary thing about this story is that things like this really happen. The neighbors will hear you are in trouble and will do nothing, just nothing, better to be silent and calm than get into trouble, even if it costs your neighbor his life. A perfectly portrayed modern society with less and less empathy.

violence

Pure violence. And portrait of deep isolation. Under the media eye. Disturbing, precise, a parable, in essence, a warning in fact. Not comfortable and easy to define as verdict about American society. But it is a crazy reflection of reality. An essay about freedom and poverty and loneliness and young men power. In fact, maybe, a bitter political reflection.
