HILARIOUS!! If MOTW doesn't turn into a TV series, it's a crime!

I have seen MOTHER OF THE WEEK at a bunch of different festivals that it got into in the 2015-2016 festival season. It's great- all of the characters are likable, believable, and relatable...especially the main character played by Jennifer Jiles- she is an amazing, talented actor and person. But my favorite character is actually Jiles' characters' bitchy vindictive boss, sharply played by Simone Lazer (who is also a doll in real life!).

The characters meld so well and the script oozes cleverness and fun. This short film left me wanting more...way more. I wanted a series that I could hit the automatic DVR button for. Who in this day in age DOESN'T have a chaotic mother or isn't a chaotic mother themselves? Support this franchise it's genius!!
