This show is so much better than Yellowstone. I wished they could have more spinoffs like Yellowstone because I think the story is more interesting with the history of Mexican heritage being in Texas well before the establishment of a state and the Indian heritage. Yellowstone just seems like a superficial comical facade of this show. While I liked 1882 and looking forward to 1923, I would really be more interested to see this story line continue with shows dealing with the history of Texas and Mexico. I want to see how the Son makes his life in Mexico and the trajectory of the descdents. There's so much rich history to explore.
