On Friday, the queen of pop took a stab at covering one of the princess of pop’s most iconic songs, posting a haunting cover of Britney Spears‘ 2003 hit “Toxic” to social media.

The cover was in honor of World AIDS Day, and came attached with a message to Madonna’s followers to stay active about the cause. “Silence = Death,” the mother of six wrote, adding the hashtag “#poisonparadise.”

It was also a birthday wish to Spears, who turns 36 Saturday. “Happy birthday,” Madonna, 59, wrote on Instagram, tagging Spears.

In times of need, celebrities are giving back.

Salma Hayek announced on Wednesday that she is donating $100,000 to Unicef to help those affected by the fatal earthquake in Mexico that occurred on Tuesday and, at press time, has killed more than 220 people.

"The people of my country have now suffered three natural disasters in a row. Many children and families are hurt and in terrible need," Hayek wrote alongside her Instagram video. "I'm contributing $100,000 now to Unicef which has teams on the ground responding. Please join me and contribute what you can and thank you."

Parents-to-be Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian prepared for their new little one over the weekend by heading to a baby class where they practiced swaddling.

“Baby class 101,” Williams, 35, wrote on a Snapchat video of a baby doll wrapped in a blanket.

In another Snap, the tennis legend congratulated herself on her swaddling skills — while Ohanian, 34, didn’t fare so well.

“Good swaddling, Serena! Yes,” Williams said in the video. She turned to her husband-to-be: “Look at this student. Oh, what happened?”

Ohanian seemed flustered as his baby doll lay wrapped in a blanket, very poorly swaddled — “I can’t help it!

Serena Williams has been documenting her pregnancy on social media since April, and she’s only looking more radiant as her due date grows near.

The tennis champion, 35, showed off her growing baby bump in a new Instagram post on Sunday. She wore a sleeveless grey dress as she posed for a couple of mirror selfies in a bathroom.

Drake Bell's heart is broken. Hours after news broke on Monday, July 3, that YouTube star Stevie Ryan had died, the Drake & Josh alum shared his shock about his ex-girlfriend's passing.

"No no no!!! I can Not Believe This Is Happening!!!! Please wake me from this nightmare @StevieRyan I loved you and will forever miss you!" he tweeted, along with a photo of the two together at an event.

"This is too much. My heart is crushed. @StevieRyan I love you and miss you...," he continued two hours later.

The 31-year-old and the VH1 star dated from 2005 to 2006.

As previously reported, Ryan died at age 33 on Saturday, July 1, according to the Los Angeles Coroner's Office. Her death was ruled a suicide by hanging.

YouTube’s waves of demonetization are being referred to as the #Adpocalypse. It’s a quick shorthand and an appropriately internet way to describe an internet problem. Gretchen Carlson made her first interview surrounding the alleged sexual harassment she underwent during her adult life on ABC News’ 20/20 on Friday night.
