Over 50 years since Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham first laid down the tracks for their only album together at Sound City Studios in Los Angeles before joining Fleetwood Mac, the duo will release their 1973 LP once again this fall. Before Fleetwood Mac became the titans of rock they are known as today, there was Buckingham Nicks, a legendary solo album from the legendarily feuding duo of Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks. Released in 1973 before they joined the band, the record hasn't been officially issued since 1981, with no real reason given why it hasn't made the jump to more modern formats since then. The only legitimate way to listen to it has been to pick up the album at a used record store where one of the many vinyl prints may lie. That's about to change, however, as Rhino, the reissue wing of Warner Music Group, has announced that it will be rereleased on all formats starting on September 19, marking Buckingham Nicks's debut on CD, streaming, and digital download.

Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks’ lone — and long out-of-print — collaborative album, Buckingham Nicks, is finally being reissued on September 19th in celebration of its 50th anniversary.

The upcoming reissue features remastered audio sourced from the original analog master tapes and will be available on vinyl, as well as CD and digitally.

Among the variants will be a 5,000 individually numbered copies in Rhino High Fidelity, as well as 2,000 limited copies that included two replica 7-inch singles featuring the original single mixes of “Crying In The Night” b/w “Stephanie.” Those versions are available exclusive through Rhino.com and and internationally at select Warner Music Group stores.

Colored vinyl variants are also exclusive to Amazon (custard), independent record stores (baby pink), and general retailers (baby blue).

Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham had the Internet ablaze last week when the pair posted a pair of corresponding social media posts containing lyrics from their 1973 song “Frozen Love,” leading fans to wonder if the two had some form of reconciliation seven years after Buckingham left Fleetwood Mac back in 2018. Less than a week later, we’ve got answers, as the duo has confirmed that their 1973 album Buckingham Nicks is finally getting reissued for the digital age.

Rhino High Fidelity announced the Buckingham Nicks reissue Wednesday morning. The 1973 album, released before Buckingham and Nicks joined Fleetwood Mac in 1974, is the pair’s only studio album as a duo and has largely unavailable for decades.

“Crying in the Night,” the Nicks-penned track that opened the album, is available digitally today (July 23) ahead of the reissue.

One possible way to overcome this obstacle would be for the Mistborn movie to embrace a rising trend in fantasy movies.

An increasing tendency in fantasy is to adapt or expand an authors vision into animation. The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep is expected to be released in early 2025. Andrew Bird and Madison Cunningham have joined forces for a top-to-bottom cover of Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks’ 1973 album Buckingham Nicks. Cleverly titled Cunningham Bird, the project is due out October 18th via Loma Vista Recordings and Verve Forecast. To preview it, the duo have shared two of the record’s songs: “Crying in the Night” and “Crystal.” Stream both covers below.

Buckingham Nicks was the first and only record to come solely from (you guessed it) Buckingham and Nicks, as they both joined Fleetwood Mac in the following year. Today, the album still has yet to hit most streaming services and remains out of print physically, which Bird and Cunningham cite as one of the reasons they became interested in it.

Warsaw-based sales outlet New Europe Film Sales has signed an international sales deal for the upcoming Belgian debut “Julie Keeps Quiet” by Leonardo Van Dijl, whose short film “Stephanie,” also repped by New Europe, played in Cannes competition in 2020.

Both films are set in the world of competitive youth sports: the short explored the world of gymnastics, while the feature film takes on tennis. The feature is to be shot in the second half of this year with delivery planned for mid-2024.

Written by two of Australia’s most celebrated cooks and food writers, and published by Penguin, “Tuscan Cookbook,” took readers on a journey, beginning in 1977 when the pair left Australia to open a cooking school in a villa outside of Siena. It records their time in Italy, the dishes cooked, the places visited, people who made it happen and the guests who joined for the ride.
