Steve Carell may have bid adieu to his Dunder Mifflin days, but The Office’s legacy keeps finding clever ways to seep into his post-Scranton career- even in an unrelated movie like Crazy, Stupid, Love. Now streaming on Netflix, the 2011 ensemble rom-com features a rather unanticipated Easter egg that only hardcore fans of The Office would recognize.
It’s not forced, it’s not loud, or chaotic (unlike Dunder Mifflin’s unruly office dynamics). It’s a blink-and-miss reference that proves, once and for all, Carell can never truly escape his Michael Scott legacy, and maybe that’s not the worst thing.
Crazy, Stupid, Love.’s Sly The Office Gag
In a hilarious scene from Crazy, Stupid, Love., sharp-eyed fans noticed a familiar phrase quietly woven into Emily Weaver’s (Julianne Moore) office nameplate. The designation on it read: Associate to the Vice President (via IMDb Trivia). Now, that may...

Meghan Markle is caught in the middle of a $260 million storm involving her friend-turned-godfather, Tyler Perry, and her silence is deafening. Once a vocal cheerleader for Perry after he welcomed the Sussexes into his home, Markle has had no public response to the serious allegations of s-xual assault and harassment made by actor Derek Dixon
Experts say staying quiet may be a mistake, as saying nothing could harm her credibility either way. As accusations and denials swirl, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry seem to be playing it safe, but staying silent during a scandal this big could backfire. With their reputation already on shaky ground, their silence might do more harm than good.

Bryce Dallas Howard’s documentary, “Pets,” available on Disney+, offers an earnest exploration of the profound and multifaceted connections that bind humans to their animal companions. The film unfolds through a series of intimate personal stories and candid interviews, charting the emotional landscapes where human and animal lives intersect.
With a palpable warmth that should resonate widely, especially with those who cherish animal relationships, “Pets” immediately establishes a tone of gentle inquiry into a bond that, while deeply personal, mirrors a universally understood affection seen in narratives across the globe. The film’s approach is less about rigorous analysis and more about heartfelt illustration, inviting viewers into shared moments of joy, support, and unspoken understanding.

Netflix has finally released its viewership data from the week of 5/12-5/18, and there is one shocking member of the list that didn’t land as high as many were expecting. Love, Death & Robots Season 4 premiered on Netflix on Thursday, May 15, and although the show earned a perfect 100% rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes, it wasn’t able to crack the top five for the streamer last week. It finished at #7, ahead of Ms. Rachel, Bet, and WWE Monday Night Raw, but it needed to beat You and Bad Thoughts to make it into the top five. The series was written and created for television by Tim Miller, who is also known for his work directing the first Deadpool movie starring Ryan Reynolds. It earned 2.9 million views last week.

Love, Death & Robots is known for giving audiences masterpieces. Following a similar format to Black Mirror, the series releases individual storylines for each episode and brings something new every single time. In addition to having interesting stories and characters, the series is also known for its animation, which is of the highest quality in the medium and rivals masterpieces like Arcane and the Spider-Verse films.
The recently released fourth season is no different in this, having all kinds of themes for audiences to explore in a short time. Its episodes exist within all kinds of genres and seem to draw inspiration from everywhere. However, no one expected the creators to take inspiration from a 40-year-old story crafted by the writer of Half-Life.

David Fincher may have first earned fans directing Fight Club, but they're in fisticuffs with critics over his latest release, Love, Death + Robots -- and not on the side you might think.
Historically a hit, critics are unanimously declaring the new season of the Fincher-produced animated Netflix series as another stellar entry, proven by a perfect 100% fresh status on Rotten Tomatoes at the time of publishing. But that impressive score is overshadowed by a resoundingly negative reception among audiences, who slapped Love, Death + Robots with a 39% average on the same platform.

Netflix's sci-fi anthology series, Love, Death + Robots, returned for its fourth season and has left critics and audiences significantly divided. The adult animated series comes from creators Tim Miller and David Fincher, the latter of whom is known for other massive hits like Alien 3, Seven, Fight Club, Panic Room, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, and more.Love, Death + Robots was initially conceived as a reboot of the 1981 animated movie Heavy Metal, and the first three seasons had critics and audiences in relative agreement regarding its greatness. However, that has ended with season 4.
A day after its release on Netflix, Love, Death + Robots season 4 has a rare 100% Tomatometer (critic) score on Rotten Tomatoes. This favorable reception is contradicted by the anthology series' audience score, which stands at only 34% with over 50 ratings. It’s hard not to marvel at the brilliance of Love, Death & Robots. From its direction to the art and sound design, each chapter showcases a wealth of talent, built over more than six years. The latest volume also corrects last season’s misstep by reintroducing various animation styles.
The techniques are stunning, and the craftsmanship remains top-tier. However, the series is beginning to show signs of creative burnout—losing some of its original spark, recycling ideas, and forgetting the sense of fun that once defined it. This should be a blank canvas for bold, imaginative storytelling.
No spoiler content found.
The first episode, “Can’t Stop,” is an exhilarating six-minute string puppet music video directed by legendary filmmaker David Fincher. It features a montage of animated string puppets performing the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ titular song at Ireland’s Slane Castle. This reimagining is stunningly cinematic, with breathtaking visuals...

And in a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, we finally have a new look and further details into the retro crime story about an FBI agent and a getaway driver trying to take down an impressively run crime syndicate.

Meghan Markle’s recent comments about her last name have ignited an online debate over royal naming conventions.
The Duchess of Sussex playfully corrected actress Mindy Kaling during an episode of her new Netflix series With Love, Meghan, which premiered on March 4, after Kaling repeatedly referred to her by her maiden name.
Meghan’s response, asserting “Sussex” as her last name, led to widespread discussion and confusion regarding the surnames of British royals.
The royal family traditionally does not use last names in the same way as commoners, prompting immediate backlash from royal watchers.
Many argued that Meghan’s statement misunderstood royal customs, while others supported her decision.
The debate highlights the ongoing public scrutiny surrounding Meghan and Prince Harry’s decisions post-Megxit.

Picture this, the world’s greatest tennis player and a duchess-turned-lifestyle-guru walk into a kitchen. No, it’s not the setup for a joke, it’s a setup for the launch of With Love, Meghan, where Meghan Markle invites her dear friend, Serena Williams to whip up some culinary delights. But as the spatulas fly and the cameras roll, fans can’t help but notice that this dynamic duo’s chemistry seems a tad… undercooked.

Sure, Markle and Williams go way back. From a chance meeting at the Super Bowl in 2010 to Williams attending the royal wedding in 2018, their friendship has had its public moments.
But something about their recent on-screen reunion feels a little too polished like a PR smoothie blended to perfection but lacking real substance. Fans aren’t buying it, and they’re letting the internet know.

Meghan Markle has been having fun posting on her Instagram account recently, which is aptly named @meghan.
After years without any posts directly from Meghan or Prince Harry on social media, Meghan now posts regularly.
A recent post seems like a throwback to her late mother-in-law, Diana, Princess of Wales, her husband Prince Harry’s mom.
Everyone loved Princess Diana and was shocked at her untimely death in 1997, and it is not unusual for Meghan to want to honor her by wearing one of her iconic looks.
Meghan is getting ready for the Netflix premiere of her new show, With Love, Meghan, and the launch of her brand, As Ever.
Ahead of the premiere of her show on March 4, 2025, Meghan shared a fun video on her Instagram channel in which she channels one of Princess Diana’s iconic looks.

Roger, Casey, and Nicole are connected by unresolved emotions, struggling to progress while clinging to familiar pain. Their journey represents survival in a shifting world that demands adaptation despite deep-rooted hesitations. ‘Back in Action’ Review: Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz in a Domestic Spy Caper as Generic as Its Title
In “Back in Action,” a domestic spy caper as generic as its title, Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz, as CIA operatives who’ve become a romantic couple, attend a kids’ birthday party thrown by a cyberterrorist from Belarus whose safe they’re planning to break into. But their identities are unmasked in about five minutes. They have to fight their way out of the criminal’s mansion, which they do in an extended sequence of bone-breaking face-offs, all accompanied by Frank Sinatra singing “L.O.V.E.” (“L…is for the way you look… at me…”). The song, as it’s used here, lays on the ironic jauntiness with a trowel. It’s the film’s way of saying: Nothing’s at stake, don’t take it seriously, turn off your brain and sink into the warm bath of this Netflix product-of the-week (because that’s all it’s here for).

After 10 years away from any kind of film or TV set, Cameron Diaz is officially, well, back in action with her new film “Back in Action.”
Now streaming on Netflix, the film centers on Emily and Matt, two CIA operatives who learn they’re having a baby together. Shortly thereafter, their plane home is compromised and crashes, giving them the opportunity to fake their deaths and go off the grid to raise their family as civilians.
Of course, secret past lives can’t always stay secret forever. When theirs catches up with them, the now-parents are forced onto a new mission, this time bringing their kids along.
If you’re here though, you probably know all that. You probably also know that the film has an 11-minute credit sequence, which you might not have watched, and you’re just looking for the songs in the film. Well, we’ve got you.
