Edit
When writer, director Fred Zara was a teenager studying for his GED test, he had a tutor named Mrs. Ramano. In the film, young Clark's teacher is named Mrs. Ramano.
Robert Pino's character Roger talks about his friend Skippy in the film, although Skippy is never seen. This is a reference to the character Skippy Lightfoot from a 2003 Zara brother's short film in which Pino also starred.
Daniel Wachs who plays Clark's father Ben, doesn't stand up in the entire film and is only seen sitting in the same spot on the sofa.
Stars, Timothy Neil Williams, Jamie-Lyn Markos and Jodi Chase have all worked together as improv actors at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
The little girl reading in front of the class as the film opens is director Fred Zara's daughter Mackenzie. She is reading from the book Black Beauty. She also appears in the restaurant scene with her back to the camera, sitting at a table with balloons.

Director Cameo

Fred Zara: When Clark and Rachel are walking out of the theater after seeing a play, the two people walking out right behind them are Producer Aviva Christie and Director Fred Zara.
