Olaf Ittenbach
The title pretty much sums up this review. Ittenbach is the German answer to Roger Corman - movies made cheaply generally with mediocre actors (although some greats have risen from Corman's efforts) - the difference being that Ittenbach's work reveals a limited, surface, pinched-soul that leaves a bad taste in one's mouth...and this "effort" is no exception. Horror fans with a facile level of feeling for characters will enjoy the simplistic blood and guts and casual murders/killings but anyone with an appreciation of the modern classics (the best of Carpenter's, Hooper's O'Bannon's work) or even a feeling for characters will be massively disappointed if not angered. AVOID.

I don't like horror movies at all and this is the first one I've ever watched. Story is really really great and Gedeon Burkhard, one of my favorite actors of all the time, did an amazing job. You have my recommend for this one.
