Cleopatra Entertainment has released the first trailer, poster and photo for Are We Not Cats, the film festival favorite that was written and directed by Xander Robin, which stars Michael Patrick Nicholson, Chelsea Lopez, Michael Godere, Charles Gould and Adeline Thery. The film has been honored with 3 festival awards this year, including the Jury Award at Arizona Underground Film Festival, Best Feature Film at Imagine Film Festival in Amsterdam, and Best Narrative at Sidewalk Film Festival in Birmingham. But despite all that, be warned, there is some subject matter here that may turn your stomach.

The Television Academy unveiled the inaugural nominees for its expanded short form programming categories Thursday morning – and it was dominated by programming from familiar broadcast and cable network sources.
Adult Swim’s “Childrens Hospital” lead the pack with four nominations, while History’s “The Crossroads of History” and AMC’s “Fear the Walking Dead: Flight 462” each received two. The only independent series to be nominated in the Outstanding Series category is “Her Story,” a drama about the lives and loves of two transgender women living in La, created by Jill Soloway protege Jen Richards.

With the final installment of her Resident Evil franchise set for release next year, actress Milla Jovovich is stepping back into the sci-fi world yet again. The actress has signed on to star in Future World, a new post-apocalypstic thriller that is being directed by James Franco. The actor-director is also starring in the movie, although no other cast members have been revealed quite yet.
The story is set in a post-apocalyptic landscape, following a young boy, born into an elite family, who journeys across this wasteland in order to find medicine for his dying mother.
