slow development

What an uptight edgy bunch of miserable characters. None of them likeable.

Slow plot. (for what it was) Almost gave up on it so couldn't recommend it.

A true emotional and gut wrenching story.

A true emotional and gut wrenching story... This a film about six emotionally broken people that are all trying their best to come to terms after a tragic accident from year earlier. The two lead actors will pull you in and really never let you go... Even after the film ends, you will think about those two people.

An small budget film worth watching

Well-crafted indie film that touches on some difficult subject matter in a memorable and effective way. Not an easy watch and it starts out a little slow to be honest... but I'm glad I stuck with it to see how the story progressed because it had more layers than I expected. Story kept me engaged, direction and camerawork were great, and the entire cast was on point, especially the two younger leads who were at the heart of the film. Not to mention Michael Ironside featured in such an unexpected role. Worth a look.

Very heavy stuff. A MUST SEE!

This story will take you inside yourself. It will make you think about the choices you've made, and ask you to reevaluate those choices. This film is not to for the faint of heart.

Poignant tale of delayed grief and redemption

Newcomers work with seasoned actors to create a compelling story of grief and redemption. A difficult subject but important story to tell. Worth watching.

Well Done!!!

This film was a true find. It is a heartbreaking family drama, about six people, all deeply struggling with a great loss.

They all deal with it in different ways, and they all are also holding onto deep secrets of their own.

I highly recommend this film. It's not easy to watch. It is vital to watch.

Accidents will happen, it's nobody's fault, and yet they all blame themselves for it and never get out of it

This is a very slow melodrama which never seems to move on, and it never does. They are all stuck in a post accident which they have been able to confront, and whenever someone touches the subject he is told to stop it and shut up. Young David Travers comes home from collage unable to carry on his studies, looking up his roots to try to get to understand what happened ten years ago, of which he has no clear memory although he held the gun. He encounters walls of silence by repressed emotions, as everyone feels guilty about nothing. A young girl, Amanda, (Gabrielle Kalomiris) also feels the repression of unreleased feelings and has problems with her mother, who also never has got over the loss of her only son by that accident ten years ago. There are heavy charges here, and someone has to suffer for it, and in the end it's the wrong person, giving new occasions for chains of guilt complexes. It is beautifully done, the actors are all perfect, but the pace does hardly move at all until in the last act.
